That was an awesome Josh you're off to a good start with calving three fine health calves busy season begins It was only tonight i got to see Sunday's video It had to be a tough decision for You and Abbi to have to give up Back my place but with you're new job getting time to do both seemed impossible and you'd be left with no time for yourselves I think you made the right decision and You and Abbi had to do what's best for you're life's going forward and that's what's important Really enjoyed the video as always looking forward to the next one

I think it’s a great decision if that’s what you and Abby feel right about! Too many people would try to hold on too long and just drive themselves and their finances into the ground. You’re young, you’ll live to fight another in much better shape and wiser than before.

It's a sad to end story but things change and you have to make decisions i hope Phil and wife understand and iam sure they're ok with it 🤞things will probably change again in future which made change things again your still young and just finding your way Good luck 👍 🍻

Thanks for your very honest video Josh. Having been employed, self employed and a business owner over the years, the one occasion that did not work out for me, was when I mixed employment and self employment at the same time. Like you, I always felt I had to give more commitment to my employer, who was a first class guy, so I just couldn't fully commit to my own business. In later life I did go back to working for myself and before retirement I had 3 businesses of my own and over 60 employees. One of my biggest regrets was not committing more time to my family and myself, and unfortunately took the loss of my wife to cancer to wake me up. You work very hard Josh and some people will forget that being a RUclipsr also takes a lot of your time, so something had to give. Your young and you have a long future to look forward too, and I am sure both Abi and you will continue to move forward and be successful in what ever you do. I have enjoyed everything you have done and will continue to do so.

Look I’m not been rude or anything but u have to be one hundred percent committed to the job and I think it was a bit soft to walk away from it just because it’s a half hours drive I work on a farm currently half hour way from me and it takes a half hour for me to go to it and especially when calving is going on I am over and back constantly and come home and same for my boss who runs the farm u are either committed to it or you shouldn’t be at it not trying to be mean Josh

It’s a pity you’ve stopped with the shared farming. I agree with you, if you can’t give 100% then maybe it was time to move on. Yes, even something half hour away means another hour of driving and fuel costs. Only thing I would say is opportunities like that as few and far between. I’ve probably 10yrs on you and to date I still haven’t had that kind of opportunity and may never get it.

You and Abby do not have to apologise or justify yourselves us your viewers. You asked the question of yourselves when you started it and were smart enough to ask questions of yourselves when circumstances changed. Your learnings and personal growth from this will be fantastic for you both. I congratulate you on that and thank you for sharing the journey, look forward to the future ones.

You have to do what is best for you and your family .you work really hard and if you don't have some time to just relax a bit and have fun ,you will burn yourself out .your young and you can always do it later .you seem so happy with your job and you give it your all there is only so much you can do .I think you have made a very good decision ❤

Right decision for the current time, a great learning experience. Good on you for recognising earlier that it just wasn't working out and to draw a line under it before any resentment starts.

Shame it has not worked out for you both. How ever worth the try and onwards and upwards to the future mate.

What a lot of people don't understand is there is nothing like owning your own cattle. Because they are yours . And your bit of farming . I know people that have started like that and later got on the farming ladder. With a county council farm. It's a shame really. It didn't work out. Because you work hard and deserve to get on in life. I can see you being a farm manager in future. Than just being a herdsman rest of your life. But I do understand. When you have cows to look after & milk you can't just go and do other things unlike you can when you have beef animals You never know what the future holds josh. I hope you don't regret it because them opportunities don't come along every day. Just to get your foot in door being a farmer . But all the best 👍.

I think you need to do what suits yourself I farm part time and it's not simple practically missed seeing my kids grow up as I was working all the time but it allowed my wife to be a stay at home mum which she wanted and the kids loved we will miss back my place but your dairy videos are very enjoyable 👍
